1) People who get worked up at the office and take office tensions home, have the tendency to lose temper more often. This leads to strained relations with their spouse and also children. So, think seriously about keeping your office stress away from your partner and your family.
2) Try to address issues that might be affecting your stress level, that you might not readily think of, especially the ones you can change.
3) Look for ways to improve your time management. Often, stress is a result of simply not having enough time to complete everything you need to do. Stop wasting time talking with your colleagues and making personal phone calls, stop surfing the internet for personal reasons, and eliminate things that leads to wastage of time.
4) Whenever possible, try to leave work at work. A separation line between work and personal life is of paramount importance.
5) Carefully consider whether or not you are in the right job. For instance, if you are in a job that demands a lot of touring, which does not suit your family, then changing your job profile could be a good idea.
