How To Cope When You Are The Only Single Among Your Friends |
1) Let the couples have their time alone. If you were in a relationship, you wouldn't want a friend tagging along with you all the t1me either. It gets irritating for them, so give the couples their space.
2) Make new friends. Mix and mingle with other single people. Being around couples too much will just make you feel bad about the fact that you don't have a partner.
3) Don't take sides when couples are fighting unless you know both sides of the story. Even then, try and stay out of the fight. While the couple may eventually settle the problems between each other, they might still remember who you sided with during their conflict.
4) Don't feel sorry for yourself. Just because everyone around you is dating doesn't mean you should be too.
5) Don't get into a relationship just for the fun of it. You'll only end up hurting others and yourself.
6) Be friendly and smile at cute guys/girls and don't be afraid to make the first move!
7) Don't try and steal your friends' partner. Likewise, don't try to ruin any relationships either.
8) Talk to your friends. Just because they're in a relationships doesn't mean they're not your friends anymore.
9) Being single will give you the liberty to flirt with other people, so go ahead and make the best of that time.
